An immigrant from Kenya and a resident of Rockland, MA, Jane Wambu is an Accountant for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has more than 25 years of experience working as a Statistician, Accountant and volunteer nationally and internationally, in both the public and private financial sectors.
She has witnessed many intelligent and gifted students give up their education dreams for lack of financial support. As she puts it: “There is a huge impact when you educate a girl — she not only changes her life but that of her community.”
Jane holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and a minor in Applied Statistics from Kenya Polytechnic.
